Have you ever tried to share your faith with someone? If so, was it hard? Most of us have been there. Sharing your faith with others can be intimidating and difficult. Especially if you’re an introvert. You may be thinking that sharing your faith is something you will never do, but don’t put that on the back burner!
Sharing your faith with others may be hard, but when you practice you will get better at it! Yes, people can be turned off to the idea of someone coming up to them to pray for them and so on, but what if you share or do something that changes someones life? You will never know how much someones life can be changed unless you actually go out and engage with people! We as Christians should be sharing the Gospel with others.
Why should you share your faith? The Bible says so! Sharing the good news of Jesus is important!
Mark 16:15 says, “He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.’
The Great Commission comes from Matt. 28:19-20, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
What does all this mean? The Bible says we should be sharing Jesus with others, make disciples and baptize them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost while teaching them what the Bible says on how to live and more. Not only should we talk to people and engage with them, but also helping to disciple them, encourage them and more. When someone is discipled it helps them to disciple others. How can we do that? In the next post I will share some ways you can share the Gospel.
